AIESEC in University of Kelaniya successfully held CN Awurudu 2025 on Saturday, May 3rd at the Kelaniya Pradeshiya Sabha Grounds. The event
welcomed over 120 delegates, including current members, alumni, and partners, creating a lively and meaningful gathering.
The day was filled with traditional Avurudu games such as kana mutti bindeema, lime and spoon races, musical chairs, and banis kaama. These activities kept the participants active and engaged throughout the event. Many joined in with great energy, making it a fun and memorable experience for everyone involved.
A food corner served a variety of Sri Lankan New Year treats, adding flavor and warmth to the festive atmosphere. It gave participants a chance to relax and enjoy the celebration while sharing meals with friends and fellow AIESECers.
The event was made possible with the support of our valued partners. Red Floral Eventz joined as the Silver Partner, AECC Study Abroad Consultants as the Event Partner, along with several other banner sponsors. Their support was a key part of making CN Awurudu 2025 a success.
More than just a celebration, CN Awurudu 2025 was a time for connection, teamwork, and appreciation of tradition. It brought together different
generations of AIESECers, highlighting the values of leadership, unity, and cultural respect.
The organizing committee thanks everyone who took part and
helped make the event a success. It was a day to remember,
and we look forward to celebrating together again in the future.
