We are amidst a changing world with the bustle of busy agendas and timelines. In navigating yourself through those tightly packed daily routines, communication acts as a humble mediator in between. Yet, as always, our systems of learning do not encapsulate free learning of communication beyond textbooks. Enter here, “Speak UP,” a transformative communication workshop organized by AIESEC in Sri Lanka and hosted by AIESEC in University of Peradeniya. This workshop marks the third phase of the Empower ALL projects series powered by Emerald, a National Partner of AIESEC in Sri Lanka.
This one-day workshop is hosted by Mr. Dilan Senanayake, a video director, dubbing director, digital content creator, YouTuber, and media lecturer along with Mr. Farweez Imamudeen, a renowned public speaking trainer and the director of Speak Academy. It is to be held on the 26th of June 2024 at the University of Peradeniya premises. With the knowledge and experience of these professionals, “Speak Up” will be an open space where you can return home to a freshly inspired individual. These sessions are not just about mastering tools and techniques; they’re about embracing a mindset— They remind us that every word, image, or interaction is a chance to create a meaningful experience for our audience.
